Tina sighed. "I'll be fine; I'd prefer not to be drooping or to get lost in a shirt that would eat me alive." She said. "But, thanks." She aded. She was bigger and older now, but she was still shorter and more petite than the other two. Well, Keiko wasn't fat at all, Tina was just proportionally smaller then the other girl.

[Miranda_]

"Your choice," said Remy, shrugging. "They found a body in a field near here, look."

She looked, then her draw dropped as she recognized the body, her eyes going wide. Didn't she have enough death to deal with already...?

"What is it?" Keiko asked, confused. "Well, who is it?"

[Miranda_]

In fact, the police had found traces of other remains there; they thought they had at least two persons there, and were now digging to make sure they didn't have a third. They were now appealing for help in identifying both persons, one who was little more than a skeleton and had obviously been buried for more than a decade.

Remy watched this with a sinking feeling in his stomach...

But the second, the one Tina had recognized, was a teen girl, black, with braces and beads in her hair. "Oh, God." Tina said, for that was the body of her best friend, Melody.

"Who are these people?" Keiko repeated. She didn't see anyone she knew yet, that she could remember at least. She'd met a lot of people.

[Miranda_]

"I don't really know, but I think one's my mother," said Remy, quietly. "I always wondered why she'd just leave me alone with my father; guess I know why, now."

"Oh... I'm so sorry..." Keiko apologised, now feeling sorry for even asking. "What about you, Tina? Who's that other girl?"

Tina swallowed. "the other one's my best friend; the person who met me at the bus stop the first time we, er, encountered each other." Tina said. Why was everyone who ever loved her suddenly dieing? The rest of her family didn't care, or was old and already dead.
