Freya sighed. She had been having a rough time simply staying like that for a second. But she did know that the fact of the world was in her hands and she had to do this.

Aphrodite and Nusku did it, but Athena waited for everoyne else to do it first; she would be dead last.

Isis and Frigg did as well. After a few attempts, Freya managed to stay in soul form as well.

Anubis and Loki changed to their soul forms, followed by Heimdall.

"Whatever happens, you all must promise not to stop until the spell is don." She said. Then, she used the soulstone's power while releasing her ownspirit-form at the same time, casting the start of the spell.

No one probably noticed that she didn't take her body with her, like everyone else, but purposefully left it behind as they went to the ShadowRealm, for that was part of her spell.

Heimdall was too busy concentrating on staying as he was; like Freya, he'd found it difficult, but was putting all his effort into it.

Freya was just too focused on not letting herself go as well, for they were in a completely different realm now.

And there wer many more shadows than deities; if you remember, when the other deities had fade,d their shadows hadn't. Their first job was to use the power of the spell to destroy the shadows that no longer had a deity counterpart.
