"Great! My boss is upping my pay!" Keiko grinned, "He thinks I'm great with customers. Even if I have broken a dish or two." She didn't want to look at Remy. She knew as well that something bad may happen that night, but she didn't want to think negatively when she was so proud.

"That's great." Tina said, grinning at her. Ezhno reached for Keiko, making little noises and obviously begging for attention.

Keiko took Ezhno and held him carefully. "I know. I really want to help Sky take her education as far as she can, and now I can do that."

Ezhno played with her hair, and giggled the way a human would.

"That's great. I still have to finish high school myself, actually."

"Yeah, well..." Keiko wasn't really one to talk about her own education - or lack there of - so she changed the topic. "Is Aphrodite still not home?"

"Helen; it's still daytime." Tina said. "And no; the salon she works at closes at six."

"Whatever, I don't ever talk to her so it's not like I would know her real name..." Keiko mumbled, then added, "And it won't be daytime from much longer."

"I know. She'll probably petend to us ethe restroom or something for the change; she mostly looks the same, anyways." Tina said.

Remy shivered. He felt gloomy when he thought of the attack that would come from his deity self's dark side; and worse when he realised there was nothing he could do to stop it happening.

Keiko asked, "Tina, do you think it would be better if I lock myself in the bathroom tonight and sleep there, or should I try and brave this whole fight thing out. When Remy's Loki, he can get pretty intense."
