Sky still thought she was weak, useless, and unimportant. She lived in a house where almost everyone had some kind of power, and she had nothing yet.

Had Sky been more specific about powers, tina would have otld her she sensed a great, hidden strength; but, she hadn't, so Tina obviously hadn't addressed it.

Sky wouldn't have believed it anyway. Had she been born into a normal family, she wouldn't feel that way.

Of course, the family she'd been born inot was FAR from normal. XD

And she felt normal, which made her feel like she did.

Kyran had gone to work; he always hated having to work Christmas Eve, cuz of all the idiots who came into the shop to buy last minute Christmas presents for their kids who moaned if the shop was sold out of anything. Kyran had no patience with people like that, and he had an arrangement with the owner of the shop to close early on Christmas Eve in any case. The owner wanted to get home and spend time with his kids so was in full agreement with early closing.

Helen had to work as well; she'd asked Tina to babysit Ezhno.

Ezhno was sleeping at the moment, however, so there wasn't much for her to do.

Kyran had asked Hel to meet him at his shop at around 3 in the afternoon.

Shaun was coping better with the shock of the kidnapping a lot better than he did as Heimdall. He found that puzzling.

Hel would sleep in til then. XD

Tina was downstairs, playing with the now-awake Ezhno. He acted like a regular baby, but made the noises a puppy did. It was odd, but Tina eventually got used to it.

Shaun came down to join her.
