Xander chuckled and grinned at her. He lead her out to the rink. "Okay, you sortof have to push off with yourfeet, rather than draggin them forward like that." He said. He lead her right to a ledge next to the wall, which was obviously meant for new people to hold on to. "Hold on to this, and I'll show you what I mean."

Loki was also concerned for Sky; he had never worried about Rika or Hel as they could obviously take care of themselves, but Sky was far more naive.

Sky let go of Xander's hand and quickly grabbed hold of the ledge. "Um, okay." She still had no idea her dad was around. She didn't see herself as naive, she was just blinded by love. She really liked Xander and didn't even mind being alone with someone who could be so dangerous to her. Actually, she never even thought about it that way.

Xander skated close by, pointing out what he was doing. "It's hard at first, but it gets easier." Once he was sure she'd at least seen and had time ot think about what he was doing and how to apply it to herself, he went over to the wall. "You ready to try? Don't worry, I'll hold yur hand the whole time."

Sky swallowed, "You won't let go, will you? I heard that it's a good method for bike training. You know, the parent would make sure the kid didn't fall, they'd peddle, then the kid would keep going. Affective, but it definitely hurts trust between the two people. You won't do that, right? You can't with skating..."

Xander laughed. "I won't let go, I'll wathc till you get the hang of it, then see if we can go faster and stuff. But I promise not to let go." He said.

"'Kay." Sky tried to imitate Xander's movements as the tried to learn.

Xander went slow for her. "That's right, mostly. Just relax; don't be so stiff with your movements."

"But I can't help it, I'm nervous."

Xander kissed her cheek. "Take a deep breath, and tell yourself that it's just for fun. Don't concentrate on being with me and having a good time rather than doing tihs perfect."
