Xander blushed a bit. "Well, thanks. As for me, I was blinded by hormones, and went after the obvious, attention-seeking girl." He sighed. "As for me getting through this, well... I'm not so sure, Sky. My shadow has some pretty nastyplans, and if I so much as think of revealing them, it'll just take over here and now, and I'd rather you not see me like that."

"I understand." Sky sighed, then threw her arms around Xander and started kissing him.

Surprised but definetely please, Xander kissed her back.

Sky was glad Xander wasn't all evil at the moment, but she wasn't sure when it would take over again and she was worried it would take over him when she wasn't ready. Luckily, her current worries were drowned away by the kiss.

Loki wasn't bothered in the slightest; however, he was keyed up in case Xander's shadow took over.

However, as he'd said, Xander usually got a strong headache when it possessed him; he usually faought back, and started losing immediately, which was what gave him the headache before he lost control.

Fortunately for Sky and Xander, the shadow decided to stay low while Sky and Loki were around; it dind't feel like wasting it's energy fighting a proctective father. Yes, the shadow could sense Loki, but only because of Loki's own shadow.

Xander's hands combed through Sky's hair as he kissed her.

Sky pulled back after what seemed like forever. "I love you, Xander."

"I love you, too, Sky." Xander said, surprising himself; he hadn't been sure before, but he was now positive that he meant it. His gray eyes were soft as he looked inot hers, and his heart was pounding in his ears.

"Wanna come back inside with me? We can have some coffee together."

Xander looked sad. "I- I can't go back. My shadow wouldn't let me, and I'd rather not have it take over just now."
