"Yeah," he replied. "Not that she really listened; don't think she has the slightest idea of what Frigg can do to her. I basically told her, on her own head be it. I'm not about to fight Frigg for her sake when she refuses to listen to common sense."

"I suppose. I just hope she does the right thing. She's my daughter and she means a lot to me. Maybe we should talk to Frigg about it."

[Miranda_]

Loki sighed. "I'm not sure how much good that'll do. You know how Frigg is once she's got her mind set on something, and after all, Rika is the one who needs to make things right; by stopping cheating on Dustin. I already told her that I manage not to cheat on you, so it's hardly going to be a problem for her to quit it. She doesn't have to be with him forever, but while she is she should at least quit with sleeping with every guy who looks at her."

"She's young, Loki. I just don't want Frigg ruining the rest of Rika's life. I don't know how to tell Rika to stop it and get her to actually do that."

[Miranda_]

"Maybe what she needs is a sharp shock. I don't mean anything drastic, but just something to show her exactly what it feels like to be on the receiving end. Personally, I'm hoping that Dustin's infatuation will end with him doing the same thing to Rika. True, based on parentage, that's not likely; but then again, Xander's not exactly like either of his parents, so it's possible Dustin might do something like that."

"Xander's more like you. Which, I will admit, bothers me intensely."

[Miranda_]

"Bothers me a bit, too. Especially with his dark side, and all. I should have been able to stop it getting hold of him."

"It bothers me because for a while I thought you could be his father. It seemed plausible considering all the time you spent alone with Athena."

[Miranda_]

"There's no chance of that at all. I'm surprised you could even think that. That would be like you sleeping with Heimdall."

"Well, she's not ugly or anything and you two always have a lot to talk about. You two share a connection."
