"I care loads about my kids, Loki.I tried everything to save Baldur, and it's your fault nothing worked. And I'm going to leave anyway. I'll run off while you are all sleeping or something."

Sky just laughed.

Athena raised an eyebrow. "Dustin will accuse you of abandoning him, you know." she said.

"Is it me, or are the noodles looking a bit fatter?" Xander asked. He realized he liked making people laugh. "Uh, I guess thay means they're... DONE! YESSS!"

"I don't see why he cares so much. Everyone thinks I'm a terrible mother anyways. I love Dustin. I'd give anything to make him happy. But I feel so trapped."

Sky laughed harder and louder.

[Miranda_]

"There was no reason to bring that up again," said Loki, referring to Baldur. "And if you leave and I have to go bring you back, it won't be pleasant. Remember the shadows? Plus, if you cared about being a good mother, you wouldn't even think of abandoning your son."

"Because Dustin sort of feels like the odd kid out thus far; his two parents don't love each other. The way he sees it, he wishes you could at least bear to live in the same house as eimdall." Athena said.

Xander drained the noodles, and the steam rose up quickly. "WHOO! It's hot as a sana in here!" He said,which was because his face had been right in the bladst of hot steam. noe his hair was a little damp in the front, though nowhere near dripping.

"You guys couldn't possibly understand."

Sky couldn't wait to taste some.

"Maybe not your point of view, no; but I understand's dustin's ache for a mother figure quite well." Athena said.


Xander stirred in the ingredients. "Okay, let's chow down!"

"Understand what, exactly? If you think that everyone's against you, then dream on. What I went thru, that was having everyone against me. My only allies were my children, my wife and my mistress."

"I'm useless. I think I'm just going to get my apartment and my cashiers job at the grocery store back. And the only person who seems to like me is Dustin. But now that he has his father, I'm so unimportant."

"Yay!" Sky got herself a bowl.

Athena sighed in exasperation. "I give up; you're darned determined to believe what you're thingking, and you won't change your mind, so I give up!"

Xander ate three bowls of the stuff; he was really, REALLY hungry.
