I started to look around. "Moria, can we please talk." Matt said. I looked at him. "Whats up, Matt?" I asked him. "Moria I-" Suddenly the lights went out. People screamed. I moved closer to Matt. He kissed me.

"How could we have powers?" I asked. "I mean, Scott and I..."

Jeff looked at her. "What? Do I look like genius? I have no frinkin' clue."

He pulled away. "Matt.." I said, shocked. "Moria, I love you." He said.

Adam rolled his eyes. "I read comic books and watch Sci-Fi. This has happened before in books and movies and TV shows."
"Wow... Can you BE anymore of a nerd?" I smirked.

Jeff looked at him. "Yeah, really. I mean, I like that stuff and all but geez.."

"Will you be my girlfriend, Moria?" Matt asked me. I hesitated. The lights came back on. "Yes, I will be." I said, smiling.

Matt put his arm around my waist. "Lets go over to the asteriod and make sure Jeff is ok." We walked out of the store. "We can do that." Matt said, kissing my cheek.

"It was a comet. This particullar one passes through every 100 years. While it is in orbit, people claim to have weird powers." He sighed. "And thanks for the nerd thing."

"No problem." Jeff said. He noticed Matt and I walking over. Two yellow rays hit us, knocking us over.
