The girl - Miya - was sitting in the back of the Honours English class, looking bored and waiting for class to start.
Far, far beyond the island, we dwelt in shades of twilight, through dread and weary days, through grief and endless pain. It lies unknown, the land of mine! Matt was sitting next to Destiny, a few desks away from Miya. He felt very nervous already, mostly cuz not only did most of the preppies act the same way towards him as Othello had, but he was a bit scared of some of the other students.

Miya had pretty much just tried to avoid most of the preppies and other students by ducking through emptier hallways, or going around them while walking behind someone else.

Othello took Honours English; however, his girlf Cindy didn't. No surprises; she wasn't noted for her brilliance at lessons. He came into the classroom late, but not as late as the teacher; shoving a nerd out of his prefered seat at the back of the classroom.
