Underwater World ~rpg~ The mermaid quest

I gulped. "I'm... Jade. We were just... swimming."

[xJESSiCA]

"Looking for seashells," I smiled. One of the humans handed me swim trunks. I pulled them on.

I giggled. One of them handed me a towel, and I wrapped it around myself.
"Are you two European? You have weird accents. And you do know people don't usual swim... with nothing on." One guy said.

[xJESSiCA]

"Accents?" I asked. "Uh...yeah, we are...what you said. And I lost my trunks," I lied. I got out of the net and walked over to Jade. "Boyfriend?" I questioned, raising one eyebrow.

I shrugged. "I needed to tell them something... What was I going to say?" I looked back at the people. "Can you bring us to shore?"

[xJESSiCA]

One nodded. I held out a hand so Jade could pull herself onto the boat. "Well, they aren't gonna believe us. I barely know you."

"Ah well." I said. "I was just... caught up in the moment. I didn't even think." I got up onto the boat.

I laughed. "Is that it, now? Well, we need to act the part, otherwise they may get suspicious."

I nodded. "Put your arm around me, or something." I whispered.

[xJESSiCA]

I looked at her. "Maybe this will be harder than I thought," I uneasily put an arm around her.
