Theo went into the store, and tried to get it overwith quickly. He found a cage that would be a little too big, but, therefore, spacious, and several new toys. He had to pay with the credit card, for he hadn't brought cash or his checkbook.
Then he dragged it all out, toys in a bag on one arm, cage in the other, and piled it it in the trunk.  |

Theo smiled mildly as he pulled out and onto the road. fortunatly, the trip back seemed way shorter than the trip there. "Mirs, do you think you can manage to carry Kayla in? That way, we can get this done in one trip."

Theo locked the doors to the car, then took the items out of the trunk, swiftly carrying them inside. He set down the cage and toys, then took Kayla from Mira. "I'm just going to go tuck her in. Be right back." He told her, then carried the child up to her room and set her gently in her bed, tucking the sheets around her. he kissed her forehead sweetly, then quietly descended down the stairs once more.
