I kept the tears in. I was hating myself for ever even talking to her.

"Judge Tori?" The laywer asked again.
He looked up. "Right. 90 days. Drugs alone."
"Alcohol charges?"
"Another 90 days."
"Attempted murder?"
"2 years."
I gulped. "But, sir, that's a litte..."
"Bail of $70, 000." Tori raised the hammer, about to smash it down.

I shrugged. I didn't care how long she was in there.

"No! Don't-" I objected.
Tori smashed the Hammer anyway and gaurds started to walk up to me.

I started to cry. I drew my knees up against my stomach and hugged them, crying into them.

"Shove off!" I yelled at one. "I can get myself out of here, thank you." I stepped out of the stand and ran out the court doors.
"She's escaping! GET HER!" The one gaurd yelled.

"Run," I whispered to myself. "Go on, Ayane."

I ran outside and looked around. I spotted a skateboard and hopped on. At least it would be faster then my feet. "Later, tell Kaitlyn I'm sorry." I said, skating off.
The guards looked at one another. "What now?" The largest one said, the rest shrugged. They started to walk back inside, up to the judge's stand. "She's gone, judge."

"Gone? You let her go? We'll hunt her down. That will just add more time to her charge," he shrugged and walked into his office.

"Ye-Yes, sir." The gaurd nodded and walked away.

I finally made it to my house. I walked in and my mother slapped me. "What the-"
"WHERE WERE YOU!" She yelled.
"Out." I shrugged.
"Where's your purse?"
"I must have left it somewhere... I'll get it tomorrow."
"You better! It has your cell phone and keys in it!"
"Speaking of which, can I borrow your phone?"
