"Anything's good." I said, walking to the kitchen. "Need help?"

"Sure." I said. "Honey, can you get the cutlery and dishes down?" I asked David.
"Of course." he kissed my cheek.

I helped them with the supper and set the table. "Well, time to call the kids, it seems."

"Yep. Lannie! Can you get everyone to the table?" I called.
"Yeah!" she called back.

I heard Moria talking to David about Nathan. I hurried over there. "Umm...Moria, honnie. Why don't you take Eric and John upstairs and play together." I said. She pouted, but went upstairs. I turned back to David. "Your home!" I said, hugging him. Hunter came over. "Hey, man. Welcome home." He said.

Nathan walked over. "What was that about?" He looked to them. "I could have sworn I heard my name..."

David smiled as he hugged Evelyn and clapped Hunter on the back. He heard Nathan come in. "Hey man!"
I grinned in spite of myself.

"Hey, David." Nathan smiled. He turned to Hunter. "What was Moria saying, anyway?"

David raised an eyebrow and glanced at me. I giggled at a volume which I hoped was a quiet one.
