Moria didn't seem to have heard him, but Evelyn nodded. "Thank you and I'll be down in a bit." She stroked her daughter's hair. "And if you see Eric, tell him to come up here." She added.
Nathan nodded again and left the room, walking towards the elevator. Just then, it opened and Eric walked out. He walked past his father and to Moria's room, standing in the doorway.
"No one is made for any other. Love isn't real. Love is just another word for pain." He paused. "I never used to think like that, but after losing our second child, I had some time to think. Until I see love with my own eyes, I won't believe in it."
"And you don't see love with Moria? After all you guys have been through? You two dealt with Josh who was worse than Brooke!" Evelyn said, holding Moria tighter.
