Zola tapped her fingers lightly on the table as she looked around. She watched her fellow Hufflepuffs get to know eachother. She contemplated whether or not to speak to anyone. Zola shook her head, Deciding against it.

Ooc: Does anyone else feel like this RP isn't working? There hardly seems to be a plot.......anyone have any suggestions as to what we need to do to get it going more, or is it fine? It seems extremely choppy to me...

Ooc: Thanks for your concern, but this is meant to be a newbies RP. It's for ppl to practice RPing and making characters. Once they are practiced enough, they can go on to the tutoring RP, or can start their own; as long as it abides by the rules. You don't have to post here if you don't want to.

Kiki flower featherfoot sat down at the table. Kiki stared around looking at her friend Aria rose phoenixfeather. She looked at kiki then to her half-sister Malinda who was beside her. Kiki could turn into a lovable tabby cat with white patches on her fur and so could Aria but oppisite white with brown patches. When Kato lyre featherfoot, her twins twin came by and sat beside her gawking at Kiki and Aria. Kiki noticed a familar sense about Aria and flashed back to the battle and was in the middle of it and yelled stop! real loud. Kiki rembered a female twin with the middle name of Rose Phoenixfeather. "Hey, Aria! I need to talk to you abou... She blushed and got up and took Aria up to the green-robed witch. "Aria is a relative of yours.... Kiki give me a strand of your hair and her hair and Aria please remove your glasses and blue contacts and blonder hair spell please. Wait a second....." said the green-robed witch. She was shocked by what she had heard the green-robed witch say " Aria and Kiki phoenixfeather-featherfoot come to see me after the term feast is over. Aria and Kiki come up here and in the entrance hallway so we can talk about your special powers." The green-robed witch took aria and kiki into the entrance hallway and said " Oh my the spell did match your genetic hair strands and cause a sideeffect to turn your twin into a blonde haired version of you Kiki featherfoot and Aria you are kikis twin and since you just entered hogwarts we'll just classify you as a 7 yr because of your twin Kiki's yr and status". She pulled out a perfect badge for Aria and pinned it on Aria's dorm robes. " Aria and Kiki you dont have proper last names and your last name is actually Phoenixfeather-Featherfoot because your mother is *gulp* lets say this happliy is still living. Your mom must have made a clone of herself using one of the illusion realio spells and Aria your not a only child and nor is Kiki! kiki!". Kiki noticed her voice change to a sweet,serene voice like her new twin has. " Aria, snice your a blonde version of your twin, I will now call you Kira." They walked back into the great hall and sat back down and the green-robed witch went back beside the sorting hat.


OOC: Is it okay if theres a pair of twins and both of them are found as twins not just best friends?. I roleplay both twins in this but Aria rose phoenixfeather and Kiki featherfoot are diffrent yrs then 1st right now because of their relatives all being dead except for them.

Ooc: Sashavucetay, your character is a Mary Sue and therefore not allowed. It's highly unbelievable that an 11 year old could be an Animagus when it takes years of dedication to achieve the skill. Also, Flowerfoot, and Phoenixfeather? Seriously, what? Fancy, nonsensical names are a trademark of the Mary Sue. And I'm pretty sure Sprites don't exist in Harry Potter, so one cannot follow Aria. Their personalities are also too perfect and one-dimensional 'nice outgoing' 'very nice'. They have to have flaws.
And they also can't be in any year but first year. Those are the rules, both of the RP and of Hogwarts in the books. They cna't be Prefects because they just arrived.
Also, magic and science? Don't mix. They don't have special powers either.

Ooc: Agreed. Sasha, here are the rules from the front page of the RP, which you were supposed to have read before posting.

I will also add the following additions; firstly, tho I am not participating, I will be reading and checking over this RP to make sure that players are following the rules. They can be found here: RPG Rules and FAQ Read them. Secondly, I will draw your attention to the following rule, which if broken will result in you being banned from the RP:

4. Never Godmod or make your character perfect. Godmoding is considered the worst crime ever by every RP I know, anyway. If you don't know what Godmoding is, it's controlling a character not your own. If they give you permission, then fine but don't just start doing it anyway! Also, don't make your character perfect and without faults. These characters are called Mary Sues and are despised by RPers.

Basically, anyone who either starts godmoding or who posts as a Mary Sue will first be warned, then if they don't change their post/character, they will be removed from the RP. That means, their posts will be deleted and they will be informed that they are not allowed to RP here any more. Refusal to accept this could result in a temp ban. If you don't know whether or not your character is a Mary Sue or not, then PM your form to me and I will tell you. Basic signs of a Mary Sue are as follows:

1. Good at everything, with no weaknesses. Your character must have faults, and weaknesses. You can't list their strengths as "everything"; they must be bad at something, and have a character fault, for example, a hot temper or clumsiness.

2. Girlf of a major character. This RP is set at the beginning of the first year, which means that you are all 11 years old. Therefore, you do not have boyfs. Harry Potter didn't have his first crush til 3rd year, and he didn't think of dating til 4th year.

3. Makes canon characters behave out of character. If you play the canon characters, you must make them interact with your character exactly as they would in the book; for example, Snape favouring Slytherins or Draco hating Muggles.


I'd also add that Sarah is right; in the HP universe there is no such thing as a sprite. Also, it took the Marauders several years to learn how to become animagi; so an 11 year old could NOT have accomplished that. Your characters are Mary Sues; if you don't change them, then you are NOT allowed to play in this RP.

Finally, there is a character form that needs filling in to show the changes you'll be making to your Mary Sues. Kindly do so, and make the required changes to your characters.
