Zola bit her left thumbnail as she glanced around the Hufflepuff table. She was glad she didn't get sorted into the other houses. She knew she wasn't smart enough for Ravenclaw. Bravery, Ha! Thats funny. So Gryffindor is crossed off the list. Zola glanced over at the the Slytherin table and shook her head. Slytherin is out of the question. Her parents would probably flipped if she made Slytherin. "Good thing." She said out loud.

Personality: When in public she seems arrogant, cold, and a bit ego-tistic. When in private or with friends, she's a very warm and caring individual, very sensitive and kind, and competitive. Very awkward and self-conscious too. She's naturally good around boys, although she's inwardly awkward. Slightly pessimistic.

It seemed like Malfoy was the most successful at getting the new girl to talk.
"So where are you from?" Malfoy asked Yuriko, nudging her shoulder, making her turn around.
"...Do you really need to know?" She teased, making her voice drone on purpose.
Malfoy chuckled, obviously adapting to her mysterious behavior already.
"Just to let you know. I am pure-blood," Yuriko said indigantly.
"Now THAT was obvious," Malfoy replied.
Yuriko turned back around and admired the slytherin decorations.

Seth noticed many people were talking to one another. He wished he had someone to talk to. He pushed up his glasses as he continued to read his book. In reality, he had no friends, but in his mind, he seemed to make friends with the characters of books. He would imagine himself as one with a personality close to that of his own and picture the whole thing in his mind. Usually, though, finding a fictional character with his eccentric personality was like finding a yellow spotted newt in Olivanders, so to speak.

Ooc: Sorry, but that's a Mary Sue. You have far too many strengths, and no reason for your characters to be staying with the Weasleys. Also, no first year witch or wizard can do wandless magic; that's not learned til later. Please alter your post; if you don't, I'll alter it for you.

Ooc2: That's fine, and if you'd read the first page of the RP, you'd know. Here it is, once more:

If you don't know whether or not your character is a Mary Sue or not, then PM your form to me and I will tell you. Basic signs of a Mary Sue are as follows:

1. Good at everything, with no weaknesses. Your character must have faults, and weaknesses. You can't list their strengths as "everything"; they must be bad at something, and have a character fault, for example, a hot temper or clumsiness.

2. Girlf of a major character. This RP is set at the beginning of the first year, which means that you are all 11 years old. Therefore, you do not have boyfs. Harry Potter didn't have his first crush til 3rd year, and he didn't think of dating til 4th year.

3. Makes canon characters behave out of character. If you play the canon characters, you must make them interact with your character exactly as they would in the book; for example, Snape favouring Slytherins or Draco hating Muggles.

I'd also add that any relationship to a canon character, like your original form saying your character was living with the Weasleys, is a sign of a Mary Sue. As is being automatically good at skills that the first years only learned in first year, like flying (even purebloods who knew how to fly weren't automatically perfect at Quidditch) and knowing skills that are only later learned in 5th or 6th year, or even later; wandless magic, Apparition and being an Animagus. It took Remus, Sirius and Peter years to become Animagi, so a first year at Hogwarts would NOT be one.
