{RP} Renewal of the Moon

Don't even say it, Sarah. I know. We've got too many.
~~~
"Mommy, can I hear that story again?" said a little brown-haired, blue-eyed girl, curling up on her mother's lap.
"Alright, but only if you go to sleep. It's getting late..."
"It's been 100 years since the last Flower Maiden led the wolves to Paradise, but the world itself is still the same. The winters are bitter and cold, and the summers? Don't get me started on those. No one survives in the scalding hot deserts, or the freezing, murderously cold mountains. The cities are shielded from the extreme weather by huge metal domes, that have their own weather programmed into them."
"What about the wolf pack that she led? Who were they?"
The mother ruffled her daughter's hair; she did that every time. "There was Kiba, the wolf destined to be the ruler of the world. He held tight to his pride, and, before he met the Flower Maiden, it was all he had.
"There was Tsume, the rebel outlaw thief with the x-shaped scar on his chest. He refused to believe in Paradise until Toboe passed on. He died not long after.
"Toboe was an innocent runt, having been raised by an elderly woman who died accidentally. He died trying to save an old man's life. The man's name was Quint.
"Then there was Blue, Quint's seeing eye 'dog'. For years, they hunted wolves, but Quint never knew that his own trusted companion was a wolf as well. She passed on too.
"Then there was Hige, the clown of them all. Always trying to make them laugh. He died the probably worst death of them all, slowly and painfully. He didn't deserve a death like that."
The little girl snuggled up to her mom, silent.
"Cheza was beautiful. Her skin was a flawless white, her hair a rose pink shade, her eyes a pretty violet, and the whites of her eyes a crimson tone."
"Why?"
"Because she was the Flower Maiden. She didn't always look like that. She used to have brown hair, and no red eyewhite. She used to have healthy, normal skin. But spending so much time in a water prison changed her."
"What happened to them?"
"No one knows. The wolves were found dead on Mount Arctica. Cheza and Kiba were never found. They say that they had descendants, or even reincarnations."
A man sitting nearby scoffed. "Pagan myth."
"It's not a myth, Unca! It's true!"
He snorted. "Fine, believe in your little fairytales..."
~~~~~~~~

"Bite my lip, close my eyes, take me away to Paradise..."

That was one of the last things any of the wolves said. It was the reason they lasted so long... and died so hard.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, here's the scoop. You read the story, now you RP as either a wolf or a human against the wolves.
Not all humans are against the wolves, because in this RP, humans are degenerated wolves.
The wolves have two forms: A wolf form, and a human form. What do they wear in their human form? Be descriptive!
Romance is allowed. It's fun. Also, human forms are solid. It's a complete shift from wolf to human and vice versa.
Pleaaaaaaase use new charas. x.x
The Flower Maiden is waiting. Which side will you choose? The wolves' side? The humans' side? Or will you choose the side of the evil wolves?
A black wolf nosed through the garbage, pawing at it slightly, and growled in disappointment when it found nothing. It padded away, its nails clicking on the pavement, and it sat on its haunches outside a bar, watching people go in and out.
One man stopped and kneeled next to the wolf, holding a chicken wing out to it, and it took it, laying down and eating it. A gunshot sounded, and it darted away, food still in its mouth. The man fell over, the gunshot wound in his head bleeding profusely. The hunter's keen eyes glared at the wolf as it rounded a corner and disappeared, and his lips curled into a frown. I'll get it, one day... I swear it.
~~~~

The wolf stopped under a large tree, one of the last trees standing, and it curled up under the roots, the gunshot wound in its leg bleeding. Its oddly ocean blue eyes closed, and it seemingly fell asleep.

To the humans that started appearing, a young girl with black hair and blue eyes was sleeping under where the wolf was, her clothes a tight, black leather two-piece outfit. Her shirt was torn at the shoulders, and an cross-shaped scar marred the other-wise flawless skin of her abdomen. Her pants were low on her hips, but not too low. A blade hung loosely at her side. She had multiple ear piercings, most studs or hoops, and her lower lip's right corner was pierced. Her eyebrow was pierced as well, with a silver hoop with a small sphere that looked like blue marble on it.

The bullet wound healed almost instantly, and when one of the younger kids - a boy named Tak - knocked on the bark, she slid out and stood up, brushing dirt off her arms.

"What's the news?"

"We can't steal from the trains anymore, Tsuki. It's too dangerous; you know that last night's raid made us half the number we used to be," said one of the men, the goggles above his eyes glinting in the sunlight.

"We're moving out tomorrow night, to another city, so what's the complaints for?" Her glare made the man talking flinch and fall silent. "I thought so. Tonight's a last raid; we're going to get the lab."

There was silence.

"Get ready. Tak, you're with me on this. Goggle-" That was the goggle-wearing man's nickname was. "-you're on backup."

Tak gulped audibly. Goggle sighed in relief.
~~~~~~~~
That night, the raid went wrong. The pipes Tsuki and Tak ran across were too rusty, and Tak slipped. He dropped the box, and grabbed one of the smaller pipes, which broke and hung loosely. Tsuki dropped the loot she'd grabbed and kneeled down to grab him, despite the bullets that were trying to rain on them, and couldn't reach him. Gritting her teeth, she shifted slightly to her wolf form and reached down.
Tak screamed, and she let go of him in shock. Somehow, she'd grabbed him with her teeth... Her wolf's form teeth. Tak accidentally let go of the pipe- and fell over fifty stories.
Visibly shaken, Tsuki ran along the pipes, and she didn't even stop at the rendevous point. She kept going until she found her hideout.
It was an old, broken stone house, but it served a good place to think in silence. She sat in one corner, staring at her hands, then looking at the shattered mirror. Somehow, her teeth were sharper. She forced her human shape back, and her teeth were normal again.
She sighed, and curled up. That was the first time someone had died because of her...
Outside, a young girl was sitting on the ground, crosslegged.
Her hair was a pure, soft moon-white, and her eyes a bright gold, sparkling with silver.
Her skin was as pale as her hair, with a slight flush to her cheeks.
Her clothing was simple, of fine but tattered and dirtied clothes.
A pale yellow lace skirt with a sprig of white flowers sewn onto it over dark blue shorts, a white school shirt a faint purple tie dye effect, the sleeves too long for her, almost eclipsing her small, long fingered hands. Her shoes was brown sandels, almost worn out and battered.
Although she was fifteen, she had an air of childlike innocence, as he dealt out the Tarot cards in front of her, swept the back up, and dealt again.
A hat lay nearby, with a few measly coins inside.
Under her breath, she sang quietly in a language that no one could understand.
Tsuki looked up, listening. The song sounded remotely familiar, but yet it didn't. She got up, one hand going to the blade on her hip, and she half-limped to the door and peeked out. When she saw it was just a girl, she silently sighed in relief and let go of the blade.
"Who are you?" she asked, her voice a bit sharp from her self-anger at her blunder earlier.
Sarah_K_O_M 07-02-2006 02:02 PM
"Accalia." Said the girl simply, in a bright, calm, yet sorrowful voice. She slid the cards together, "Fortune?"
Silent_Wolf 07-02-2006 02:02 PM
Tsuki blinked, but sat down. "Okay... I'm Tsuki."
Sarah_K_O_M 07-02-2006 02:10 PM
Accalia smiled, not quite looking at Tsuki, and dealt the cards.
"Death. But not yours, it is past, but recent."
Silent_Wolf 07-02-2006 02:14 PM
Tsuki swallowed. "What's in the present?"
Sarah_K_O_M 07-02-2006 02:34 PM
Accalia's crimson lips curved slightly, into a faint and almost mocking smile, "Trails, suffering, joy."
Silent_Wolf 07-02-2006 02:34 PM
"Okay, wait a second. How can there be suffering and joy at the same time?"
