It’s been a full century since Albion was united under one man, called Sabre, one of the True Blood from the Old Kingdom. He who wielded the Sword of Aeons and defeated Jack of Blades, he who killed his sister rather then relinquish that power.
Since then, the world of Albion has been obscured in a shadow, the shadow left by Sabre. And in this shadow, demons have been rising…
The Sword is lost within the shadows, its light smothered. Only one of the True Blood, one of Sabre or Theresa’s lineages could wield it and cut away the night.
The story shall begin at Oakvale, a town only once touched by pain, the hometown of Sabre who had seen the bandit attack.
Then, it shall lead to the Hero’s Guild, where Hero’s are trained, and may become legends from quests.
And then to the world of Albion, to Darkwood, a horrid wood of Hobbes and Earth Trolls; Witchwood, with the standing stones and focus site; and Bowerstone, sweet city of trade, ruled by Lady Grey’s descendants.
But no further then the lands of magic. Remember, nine seas surround Albion, and all of them are ruled by the Kraken.

Physique, this is your power with a sword, your basic strength.
Health, how many blows you can take before death.
Toughness controls how thick your skin is, in other words, how easy a person can hurt you.
Accuracy helps you aim your ranged weapons.
Speed controls how quickly you swing, how quickly you reload a ranged weapon.
Guile controls how stealthy you are sneaking up on an enemy, and how well you negotiate with merchants. Also lets you thieve.
Will is the [power of magic. There are three types Surround, Physical and Attack.
Attack would be creating a ball of flame, or summoning lighting.
Surround is spells that allow to change the world for a brief period of time, like slowing down time for everyone else while you are unaffected or being able to cause a brief burst of speed that propels you behind the target.
Physical are spells that drain life, or give health, in other words, affect people physically.
Spells only last as long as your Mana does. You can drink Will potions to restore Mana.
Silver and Wooden Chests, Demon Doors, Cullis Gates
Wooden Chests are scattered throughout Albion, open ‘em up for food, potions or a weapon!
Silver chests are also scattered around, however unlike the wooden chests, you will need a random number of Silver Keys to open these. The higher the amount of keys, the better the contents.
Are big doors with huge, bearded faces on them that talk in hollow voices.
They give cryptic and no-so-cryptic clues and if you solve the clue and do what they say, they open and you get the goodies in the caverns inside!
In addition, there are cullis gates (teleport spots) set up around the kingdom. These activate when you get to their location and from that point forward you can easily leap to any one using the Guild Seal you get on graduation from the Hero’s Guild.
Melee Weapons ranks:
Iron, the lowest. Do not augment.
Steel, lighter, more damage. May augment.
Obsidian, dark, twisted looking. Heavy.
Legendary, these have names!!
Crossbows: Come in Yew, Oak, Ebony, Master and Legendary.
Longbows: The same.
Axe, Cleaver, Great Axe, Great Hammer, Great Maces, Great Swords, Katana(Oh, yeah!), Long Sword, Mace, Pick Hammer.
Ranged: Crossbow, Longbow.
Augmentation gives your weapon extra properties, for instance Silver augmented weapons to fight a Balverine or Undead as they are vulnerable to them.
“MOOMMMEEEEEEEE!!!” The young girl’s scream cut through the tortured air. She was only six or seven, standing amidst the burning buildings of Oakvale. It had been attacked again.
“MOOMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEE!” came the scream again.
Charmaine Emerald slashed the bandit again, and then sprinted towards the wail.
She found her second youngest daughter, Tru, head thrown back and clothes muddy wailing and crying.
“Mummy! Mummy! They took her! They took Destiny! And Daddy’s DEEEEEEEEEAAAAD!” Tru wailed, clinging to her mother’s leg sobbing.
Charmaine picked her up, “Shush, shush, it’s okay.” She lied softly, feeling as if she had been punched in the stomach.
The flames were being doused, the Oakvalians had been prepared and had fought back this time. But there had been death at the end of a Bandit blade.
A few months later, Tru was being tucked into bed, the fire crackled merrily nearby.
“Hush, little baby...” Charmaine sang quietly.
“Mummy? What happens in a week?”
“In a week, my dear, you are going to the Heroes Guild.”
“I rather stay here and wait for Destiny.”
“Sweetie, if you go to the guild, you’ll be a Hero. And Hero’s can go everywhere without fear. And if you can everywhere, you’ll meet her again.” Charmaine smiled.
It was still daylight outside, but Tru had had a fever and needed her rest.
Plus, everyone was ordered to stay indoors; a Succubus Nymph was outside.
The Succubus Nymph was a small creature, humanoid with a child-like body. The eyes were black holes and it was translucent, you can see its wings fluttering behind it through its chest.
The Nymph flittered in a ball of fiery light, summoning Undead creatures from the ground.
They banged on the window panes, the Nymph’s insane childish giggles echoing throughout the village.
