My dad considered me a total freakshow and sometimes never let me go to school. Worse, my two sisters and one of my three brothers have mutations too, but he never cared about them. Lucas looked up to see a girl walking up the road, noting her power. He hadn't seen her before, but that didn't matter; now he'd seen her, he could change into her and use her power.
