Miya finished writing in her journal, and read it over.
August 24, 1999 I keep remembering what those stupid NOON members did to me when I was little. First they sent that shapeshifter after me, then Dad messed me up so I ended up half-cat, and then they kidnapped me so they could foretell whether they won the battle or not. I'm just glad it didn't work. The scars still won't go away, and they still hurt sometimes. I really like Lee. David says Lee likes me, but I don't think it's true... The charmed bracelet I have to wear is starting to lose it's power.
