Georgie walked into the kitchen and out the door, appalled.

[Miranda_]

Rian snickered, then went back to teasing Destiny.

*at NOON headquarters*

Zed was just finishing his report to Nofret. "They just stood under the tree and didn't even look up!" Nofret rolled her eyes. "Idiots. Well, we don't need to worry... there's no way the Eldest would ever join them, even if he really is the Wild Power. We can just wait for further developments."

*back at the house*

Miya had gotten back, and was sitting cross-legged on the floor, playing Condemned: Criminal Origins. It was kind of scary, mostly because you never knew what was going to happen or what a crazy junkie would attack you with.

[Miranda_]

Lee was watching her play.

[Silent_Wolf]

Miya jumped as a window crashed open on the game, and the screen went black and white. "I still don't know why it does that."

[Miranda_]

"To give the ppl who play it heart attacks?"

[Silent_Wolf]

"More likely than the disk messing up." The screen faded back to normal colors, but it was blurring.

[Miranda_]

"New disc, or have you had it a while? Sometimes, overplaying can mess up computer games."

[Silent_Wolf]

"I've had it for awhile; I've only played it one other time and that was three months ago."

[Miranda_]

"Should take it back to the store then, and get a replacement."
