Miya was flipping through a book she had. The cover had the title peeled away from age, and the spine was a mottle of duct and masking tape. She found nothing but a half-torn-away page. Sadly, it was the lower half.

After a couple of days, Rian woke up feeling better. However, he was looking slightly different... the same features were there, but his eyes had a wilder light in them, and were exactly the colour of emeralds. His black hair shone like an animal's pelt. His face now looked inhumanly good looking.
