I like them. But, you should learn how to make the blinking slower, if that is something your intrested in. Sorry, I don't have AS3 anymore, so I can't show you how.

I actually would suggest slower animation. It makes it look better in my opinon.

Well when you can figure out how to make half a frame to speed it up but not too much, let me know. (:
Two frames is too slow and one is too fast, and if you think about it, you don't blink slowly. Unless you do....but that would be a little weird.
