My suggestiong to get familiar with the forums is to just click around and look at all the threads and see whats going on in them to make an understand. The above links I gave you will assist you in learning the expectations for the proper forum manners when posting a post and or thread. Th av chat is a whole seperate part of the site ment for chatting. av (avartar) being a doll a picture or w/e will be used so you can go from room to room to chat with people. Delly's told you a bit about the Avatar Chat and the Forums so I'm going to let you know about a few other good areas of the site.

If you're looking to make friends, the Forums, Avatar Chat and Clubs/Clique sections are great places to go to. The Forums, as you can see, offer a wide range of things to talk about. Avatar Chat is always full of new people so there's always a chance to talk to someone new there. Clubs/Cliques is a great place to go for a more personal experience. There are a ton of Clubs/Cliques to choose from and I'm sure you'll find one that suits your personality and doing such will score you some friends with similar interests.

If you're more of a solo person some great things to do are the Contests section and the Coloring section. There's also a Stories section where you can read and write your own or others' literal pieces of art.
