Fan/Hate Topics
Every topic created must be open to both discussion from fans and haters. This means that the title and opening post cannot only invite one group or the other into the discussion. The reason for this is we cannot have a full perspective if we only allow one view or the other, so please be polite at all times.

Band List Topics
Do not post topics with a list of your favorite bands and then ask if anyone likes them. It makes it difficult for other members to identify easily what the purpose of your topic is. Instead, pick a band or two from your list and search out the topics on them or create new ones. While I'm not looking for you to create 10 topics about your favorite bands, no one is interested in seeing topics that really aren't discussing anything besides you.

I am going to lift the rule regarding fan/hate topics for bands and musicians, but only within reason. The following must be adhered to if this is going to stay:

• There will be no fighting between fans and haters
• No overly hateful posts(they should die, cruel comments about weight, religion, style, etc)
• No posts encouraging stalking or with inappropriate content(sex fantasies, for example).

I am not obligated to allow this to continue if members prove to be irresponsible with this freedom. I am trusting everyone to be polite. If someone wants to criticize in a fan thread, its allowed within reason and the same goes for fans in hater threads, but under no circumstances does this mean all out flaming is allowed.
