The only real problem I had with the movie was that it was too short. Oh well, when you use stop motion like that, there's only so much time you can have to tell the story. Know that scene where Emily is frolicking about in the woods after they've been allowed to go "upstairs" and she has her gown and veil all flowing behind her? That had to be one of the hardest scenes to make, with all that drapery floating about.
I also like the scene where that maggot that looks like Peter Lorre and the black widow spider are singing a song for Emily. A little send up of the cuddly animal friends seen in the Disney movies, I suppose. --Captain Murphy |

I finally saw it about a month ago, and I absolutely adore it. The ending made me cry though.
Whew... I'd have to say my favorite part was with the old skeleton man. XD OSM: *adds ingredients to drink* *drinks it* URP. Emily and Victor: *blank look*\ OSM: Ah, here it is. *pulls egg out of nearby raven* Okay. I KNOW THE PIECES FIT, CAUSE I WATCHED THEM FALL AWAY, MILDEWED AND SMOLDERING.
FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERING, PURE INTENTION JUXTAPOSED WILL SET TWO LOVERS' SOULS IN MOTION. DISINTEGRATING AS IT GOES, TESTING OUR COMMNICATION. THE LIGHT THAT FUELED OUR FIRE THEN HAS BURNED A HOLE BETWEEN US SO WE CANNOT SEE TO REACH AN END... Tool |
