The new movie: Up. I think disney ripped off The 21 Balloons. Though not completely the same. almost the same conscept. Old man goes up in a house using balloons to be alone for a year. Sound familiar? The book was very good; and I am very disapointed at Disney. Sorry if this is in the wrong thread.

Wasn't Up made by Pixar?
Anyway, I haven't seen the movie yet (nor read that book), though I'm planning to watch it sometime. So far, I've yet to be disappointed by a Pixar movie, but we'll see.

I love this movie.
And Crescent, the idea of moving around with helium balloons has been around for years, ever since helium and hydrogen and all the other light gases were found. They did not 'rip off' that book. Far, far beyond the island, we dwelt in shades of twilight, through dread and weary days, through grief and endless pain. It lies unknown, the land of mine! A hidden gate to save us from the shadow fall. The lord of water spoke in the silence words of wisdom. I've seen the end of all: Be aware, the storm gets closer. Av by Miranda_
