Default Changeling - 12-25-2008, 02:30 PM

I really really really want to see this movie. It stars Angelina Jolie as a single mother who's little boy is kidnapped. The police find a runaway boy who claims to be the woman's missing child, but isn't; and they force her to take him home. When she protests, they lock her up in an asylum to silence her and hide the truth about how the police let her down.

It's based on a true story, too; read all about it here: Behind 'Changeling,' A Tale Too Strange For Fiction : NPR

Thats a really intresting plot. Its sounds like a good movie. But, the true story is so sad, so unfair.

What makes you so intrested about it?

Films that are based on real life events are haunting. For one thing, it prompts you to look up the story and compare with the film; this film according to all the reviews I've read hits all the right spots.

The time setting is cool, too. The plot is very perplexing, too. The insane part kinda intrests me.

Oh, I saw that movie!
It was really good and so sad that I almost cried....
I would seriously recommend it.
