problem with new age limits and birthdate D= [helpdesk told me to post here] -

the other day when i logged on to tdp it sent me to a page telling me my account would be deleted by april 1st if i do not get parental consent. i figure this is because i set my birthday to say im 3 years old just for the fun of it.
so i went to go change my birthdate to my actual birthdate and it wont allow me to change it! i have premium and im 14 years old and i really do not want to get my acount deleted. i emailed helpdesk and they told me to forward my problem to the forums so the tech team can investigate, so here i am, hopefully getting my problem fixed before i get deleted D=

Well, you should have never joked about your age like that...
If you can't change it, I don't know what you can do about it.

One of my friends at TDP put four as a joke, but she couldn't change it so she got a new account. She's had her account since 2006. I know this may be a bit off-topic, but how did people find out about the age thing? I never received any PM and I only found out today when my friend was explaining why she changed accounts. But luckily, I turned 13 a few months back! ^_^ And a mate of mine is turning thirteen two days before the accounts are deleted, which is lucky of her... O.O
But yeah, I'm sure support will be able to do something about it. You'll have to make sure you're nice too! ^_^

Coloured, its the new privacy policy that went into effect in February. You never would've received an email since you are over the legal age.
Anyways, hopefully this is a lesson to everyone as to why you don't lie about your age on a website.

She hasn't been on in about a month. Just be patient, she will be on eventually, especially with this new policy just being enforced.
