Default Is premium worth it? - 06-05-2007, 11:25 AM

(I hope this is in the right area)

I've recently been thinking about buying premium. But I play a game where I but thinks monthly. This would be cheaper than that but I don't know if my parents would be up for it, because they would be paying. Is it worth the payment thogh???

Check my Request thread.

Request a doll.

Yes, In my option. You can animate, edit Etc.,Etc.,. Its also cheap. Here are some ideas for raising money if your parents dont want to pay-

*Beg( My fave ^_^)
* make something to sell (like a monthly news paper for 25 Cents)
*Look around a food place, people drop pennies EVERYWHERE
*make lemonade (all you need is lemons, suggar,a pitcher, and some paper cups!)

Hope this helped! -Emily

If you're a serious doller, then it's worth it.

To earn money, why not offer to do chores like washing the car or mowing the lawn? A mate of mine made a lot of money walking dogs, and she lost weight, too. If you offer to pay for it yourself, then your parents probably won't mind letting you have it.

I am premium, but the only features I use are things like the personal makers and things to do with the friend profiles. Pixeditor takes too long. I think it would be better to just use other sites with some premium clothes and use AM3. But I love personal makers. Premium is pretty cool, and most things you can't find on other sites, like the big hair (lol).

In my opinion, I think it's worth it.. but all I did was hang out on the avie chat, and make dolls to use on there. Now, there is too much drama so I quit premi and don't go on the chat anymore.. but yeah.
The point is, if you love making dolls & all that then I think it would be worth it if you get premi.

My hearts got a mind of it's own
Won't listen to a word I say
Doesn't it know that I get hurt too
When it acts that way
Cos When it breaks I break
Stop, slow down, take a second
Before you rush right in
It's gonna be my tears you cry

Thumbs down Same... - 08-22-2007, 03:47 AM

I'm thinking of getting premium too, along with my friends. Yet were all kind of cheap and poor (sorry to say) and we don't get allowance, and in our neighborhood, you get sh.ot for selling lemonade or anything. And were only like ranging in age groups from 12 to 13 or whatever. We only really want it for avatar chat and TDP Dollz and Stories section. I don't want it as much as them, but I just wish premi was free. Like, it's all just greed!

For your information, if there wasn't premium, there would be no site. It is not greed; by saying that, you're just showing your complete ignorance on how much money it costs to keep a site running. Jessica's not a millionaire; and this site eats up a lot of money, in bandwidth costs for example. Why should she have to pay for it all? I will say this one more time; PREMIS GET MORE CUZ THEY PAY! The same goes for everything in life. You can pick up a cheap knockoff down the market, or you can save up for the original. The knockoff might look the same, but it's not the same quality as the original. If you want to earn money, get a paper round, offer to walk dogs/wash cars or do chores for your parents in return for money. I managed it; when I was a teen, my parents never gave me much pocket money; I had to earn any extra money I wanted.

Thank you, for explaining that firmly, Miranda. Some people don't realize that alot of sites need money to keep themselves running, and Jessica chose to make premium and such, so you people should just shut your mouth, and if you want premium, B U Y I T! It's not that much. TWO dollars, people! That's the same ammount for a McDonalds meal! Or if you're more interested in premium, then $22 for a year. Seriously, it's not that bad of a deal, just buy it and stop complaining, and saying you wish premium was free doesn't make the moderators or anyone else feel bad, it just makes you feel bad.

Anywayyyyyyyyyy.........
I think premium is a very very great way to get around TDP, and to my opinion, it's a great deal, $2 per month and $22 for a year, just wounderfull. And it's Jessica's way for keeping money for the site. And if you ask me if I'm premium, no I'm not, because my mom won't give into site like this and buy it for me (I'd buy it myself but I need the money first, and I don't have paypal or checks) But, it's a really really great deal, and you'll have much more fun making rooms, getting to go on Personal Maker, and making smily faces.

So, yes, I think it's worthit.
=]

...that's all you have to do. (:
