You can draw whatever you want. You could do characters from things that you like. Anime, Video Games, Movies, Books. There's all sorts of things that you can do. Just doll what you like. You could even start with doing a doll of yourself.

You might want to delete that thread you posted to Miranda. That's not the proper way to contact people.

I've been asked to talk to you about your actions. You will have an message from me in a few hours. Please try to stay out of trouble until then.

Once again, stop posting advertisements for your doll maker. I am getting quite tired of deleting the topics. Basically, the topics you're posting are SPAM. In this context, Spam is an advertisement for a site or anything else, which is what you are posting.

Second, if your topic is deleted, then DON'T REPOST IT. I am trying to be patient with you, as you are new, but I am fast losing that patience. If you want to advertise your doll maker, then post a link to it in your signature, don't post random threads all over the board. I will not tell you this again.

This is an admin warning. Editing or deleting it will automatically result in an infraction.

Please stop posting advertisments for yourself on the forums. This forum isn't for such things; you'd be better off going to deviantart for what you want, and your threads are basically spam. Please don't post the ad again as advertising is not allowed on forums re the terms of use.

You tell me what it is you want, what theme(s), all the reference pics you want me to go by, and how big of a maker you're looking for. After I get every detail I will write up an invoice and send it to you. Depending on the size of a doll maker you request you should have the pieces for one all your own in 2 weeks to a month.

TheDollPalace is always a good place to get a hold of me, I've been a member for years, and don't plan on leaving anytime soon.

May I make a suggestion? If you want only a simple dollmaker, mainly for yourself, I would highly recommend getting Premi on this site. It's only $2 a month and you'll be able to host your own maker complete with animation. All you'd need is the pixel art.

I talked to my husband. He's built a website before and the cost for it reached $2,000, but it was a VERY elaborate site, and I'm guessing you want a simple site? To get an idea of elaborate, check out his work at this photography site. It took roughly 3 months to create. If you're wanting just a plain 1 page drag and drop print screen to save dollmaker, that would be $250. That comes with Logo, coding, backgrounds. You would have to get your own host. Those can be free (if you allow advertisements on your webpage) or they can cost money. If you know anyone with their own server they may let you have space for free.

Payment would be through PayPal.

It probably is a lot to take in, lol. You have to keep in mind the amount of time and effort that goes into building such things. That's a lot of man hours. That's why people typically do these things themselves.

The cost would depend on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a maker with several pieces or something more like the smaller amount you'd find in a flash game (such as this one). Size of the base would also be a determining factor. A small base, such as a Chibi doll would be cheapest, but a larger base would obviously cost more.

Cheapest you could commission would be a Chibi sized base with the amount of props/hair/clothes typically found in a flash game. That would be $150. If you're wanting Chibi sized with the amount of stuff found in Drag n Drop style makers, that'd be $250.

Likewise the difference you'd be looking at for medium bases such as Shuni/Unique/Prep would be $250/$350, and on larger bases $350/450.

However, if you choose to do your dollmaker on a Shuni/Unique/Prep base I can cut the price to $150/250 if you agree to let me use the items in my own maker.

Cost to build a website depends too. What are you looking for? Just a 1 page site that takes you directly to the dollmaker, or something more elaborate?
