Can someone tell me how to do a 'CD review'? I need it ready for monday, and I'm pretty clueless as to what I'm supposed to do. -_-
My name is bones. DRY bones. I don't like being stomped on, or twilight vampires. You guys upset undead everywhere, including reanimated turtle skeletons.

Alright, I've never written a review myself, even though I have read many, so I figured it would help to link you to some good sites with information about it. The first thing you should do is definately read through some good reviews(which are usually a few paragraphs) for a few different CDs. Then you will get the feel for it. Then make sure you listen to the entire CD. Take notes on each song, whether you like it, don't like it, what makes you feel that way, etc. Be sure to do research on the band, including listening to some of their music throughout the past few decades. Compare their old stuff to the new music. For example, I could say that I was highly impressed by the emotional content of James Blunt's first CD and that the first single off of his new one disappointed me since it seemed to be focused around pop value only. A good review consists of research, insight, and a slight twist of wittiness, which cannot be managed within in a few sentences.

Also, don't be afraid to be a little creative with your wordplay. Sometimes that's what really gets a person: how you phrase your sentences. ^^

Creative? XD I think I was more than a little creative with my last review, which was on twilight. It was a lovely mixture of slander and detail. XD
