The dreaded flu is never fun to have... does anyone know some good at home remedies for the flu?

Best thing I can suggest is to keep warm and make sure you keep hydrated; drink plenty of water and perhaps something with sugar in. Try and eat if you can, but nothing too complex. Above all, don't force yourself to get up and go to school or work if you're not well enough; you'll just feel ten times worse and will pass the flu on to everyone else.

If you have a cold, keep moving rather than lie down; drink loads of fluid, keep warm and if you have a cough or sore throat, you can try over the counter remedies to control it.

I agree with Miranda. It's also best if you dont eat anything too heavy on your stomach and try drinking Gateraid too.

I was always told to eat crackers and 7-Up...not sure why, but my family has been wrong on many occassions before, lol. (Chicken Pox come from poison ivy anyone? Yeah, that was an embarrassing situation to realize my info was wrong...) Even so...I still keep 7-Up and saltines handy to this day! ^^
