B.C. is on major lookout for the flu, a LOT of people went to Mexico on spring break. My English teachers wife has a flu, and he's keeping a very strict eye on it. My grandparents also were very, very sick, so I really hope it isn't that.

Virgo, read the articles Catlover shared. That's just ridiculous to even think of; it's known that the different flu viruses can mix with others and form new ones. Don't EVER dare say that a virus is manmade, because that's just ridiculous. The flu has been around for probably eternity now; humans can't change it, only influence it with vaccines.

Agreed; please don't post wild rumours unless you have a link to back it up. The fact is, weird hybrids of that kind just don't happen in nature. The chances of there ever being a combination of bird, human and pig flu virus are as likely as there ever being a cabbit.

My Best [A friend Kinda' boy ha :]] Boy Friend Had It and a ton of my friends had it. I have basically never been sick in my life. I have never gotten the flu or swine flu[Or bird flu!] nor has my dad or mom so I think Its in my genes not to get it? My whole family has like no health issues and has a strong immune system. So I'm pretty hopeful. I think this is just going to end up like the bird flu did. It was like 10 times more deadly then the swine flu, but they found a cure and no one cared any more :P.

My little sister,who's like 6 yrs old,had the swine flu and my mom NEVER let her go to school for a whole week and we couldn't get near her cuz my mom was afraid we could get it too,but after that week passed,she got the vaccine and she was much better.I actually missed my sis XD I was REALLY scared though.Every time I saw her I was hoping she wasn't dead,but she's alive and living and I'm grateful for that.It was really scary cuz my mom thought I had it too since I always hang out with her.

Of course I would.Whenever my mom went shopping for groceries or something,I snuck in her room and we played video games and my favorite was ConnectFour at that moment cuz she always beat me XD She was actually more alive than "blah" so that's what made me so happy.My mom said I was a good sister,which I am.
