Shaving?

i don't know how long i've shaved my legs but i have for a long time... i still cut myself which is fine ... kinda hurts but im ok with it usually the bleeding goes away after a while.

I only shave my under arms. I started shaving at the age of 12. I've been doing it for 2 years.The first time, I waxed the hair at a professional's salon. She was all like, you didn't scream or cry! I was trying hard not to cry in front of her though. But now, I use a gel which comes with a special tool which removes the hair off. If you're a blond, like me, don't shave hair on your arms and legs. It isn't noticeable.

^You should still shave. Honestly, I find that if I'm going to be wearing shorts, a skirt, or a dress, I have to shave because I feel icky if I've got hairy legs showing, even if it's not visible.

Agreed. My natural hair colour is blonde, however I don't like to have hairy legs when I go out. The hair is noticible if you're wearing tights, by the way.

I only started shaving at 13 (my age now), and it doesn't hurt D:
It shouldn't anyway.
It isn't a "grownup" thing to do, its just removing hair, so don't ever think it ruins your childhood

at my mum's house (Parents are divorced), she keeps some shavers and cream in the cupboard and i have to sneak some sometimes.
i have black and coarse hair under my arms and on my legs.
should i start?!?!

Yes, you should. Tell your mom that you need to start shaving; if she says no, then ask why. If she doesn't explain, then say she has no reason to not allow you to shave.

.. Wait, why do you need to 'sneak some sometimes' if you haven't shaved before?

Before Nov 2008, I use to use Nads Hair Removal Creme but now I just shave. I can't go for a day with underarm stubble it MUST be hair free for me. Lol. I use soap and water and afterwards I apply moisturiser to the legs.

I dont see how you would have to sneak shaving cream & shavers, Just talk to your mum about it I am sure she will let you shave..after all she was a teen once right?
I also think that you should use your own shavers anyway for personal hygeine reasons

Does anyone here leave everything "down there" all natural? I only shave around it to keep it neat. To boys still like it that way?
I don't want to shave everything down there because you will look like a pre-pubescent kid, which is creepy. I shave under my arms when I see stubble even appearing. I want to be clean shaven totally under my arms.
