I've had them on my hips for a few years (im seventeen) and i'm kind of big so i thought that was why, but for a while i rubbedpalmers cocoa butter on them every day and they are almost completely gone. I also lost some weight and i think that helped. Also ive heard that if you have red or purple ones they can go away but white ones will never go away completely

I believe the red and purple ones are actually your veins.
if you wear tight clothing or something that is tight, like it doesn't fit you tight then your veins show.
My mom told me that. Since I asked why she had purple and red marks on her legs.

Avie: Me.

No they aren't because I have them. What it is is the tissue rips there and it is red or purple when it is healing itself.

Thank you Secret Santa for my avatar

Thumbs up cocoa butter - 09-01-2008, 10:06 PM

well first off alot of young teens have stretch marks.

just because you have them doesn't mean anything is medically wrong or anything so no worries over that.

but yes it can be embarassing but really don't worry it is nothing to be ashamed of.

use COCOA BUTTER every night.

it wont make a huge difference but it doe s help on mild or small strtech marks.

(:

hope it helps.
