I've had 4 wisdom teeth removed and have one left. That's unusual. Not many that has had 5.

I had to remove one once at the my local dentist- he pulled it halfway out before he decided that it was too hard for him to pull it all the way out. He put me on strong medication and sent me home! I had to go around for two days with a tooth half hanging halfway out of the gum! The pain was intolerable! When I came to another dentist, it took him three minutes to pull that shet out! Three minutes! While the other sent me home with pain!

As for doctors- I was going to remove a tiny bump on my leg. the doctor that performed the procedure cut and sewed together the wound and said i had to go with a band-aid for four week not showering. Help! I got an infection in it, the doctor thought that was unusual and the other doctor that removed the stiches said she couldn't understand why and that it was nobody's fault. So I just got an infection out of nothing?
1 month later and the wound has had another infection, it's still red and hard to the touch- and it annoys me so much.

The dentist makes me angry.

When I was in 2nd grade I needed to get a silver tooth on one of my top teeth in the back, and they used anesthesia on me without my mom's parental consent (they say redheads need anesthesia more than people of other hair colors, so weird!) and I was out for a few more hours than I was supposed to be so I'm kinda scared of them.

And I have all my adult teeth now except my wisdoms, the silver tooth was a baby one and I lost it (and saved it lol), they're all in straight and they're white, but now my new dentist wants to give my braces because I have like a half millimeter between my 2 front teeth. I don't want braces, I'm 16, my friends are all getting braces OFF, not ON. It's strictly cosmetic anyway;; a gap? I don't care! I have had one forever and I wouldn't feel like myself without it-- it's so small anyway. And braces are expensive so my mom won't let me get them anyway. ^-^

It's weird, I have no sign of my wisdoms and I have friends who are 14-15 who have already have them grown in & removed. o_o;;

Your mom could've had your dentist done for malpractice. O_o

I think it's bullcrap that redheads need more anesthesia; I'm a redhead, and while I've never been in any situation where it was needed (as far as I remember), I know other redheads who have.

Its really terrible that all of you hate going to the dentist so much. lol because ironically I am in my first year university to become one . I have volunteered in a dental office since I was sixteen and I really enjoy the environment and I love getting my teeth cleaned. But I guess again I never had a bad experience or had to go through any extreme procedures . Plus I have a very good dental surgeon.

I'm only 10 and i only like when i can bring my Ds lite, which i can't use!!!They say you can play with it but they never mean it.

My dentist is nice but when she pokes in my mouth i can taste some kind of toothpaste. And i gag to much during it,its like they want me to eat them or something.Yuk.

And the worst part is,i feel freaky because i have teeth growing OVER my real teeth,it makes me feel....like a freak.

lol the "toothpaste" that you are referring to is called fluoride.Flouride is a natural compound that protects teeth from cavities and also helps harden the tooth enamel and make it more resistant to tooth decay. Which is obviously a good things cause no one likes cavities nor decaying teeth..

i hate it when i have loose teeth.especially when i have to go to a dentist appointment.first he always says"oh this tooth needs to be removed" the reason is because i have to wear retainers at night and it wont make a difference at my teeth if i have loose teeth.so first he tries pulling it out which hurts(if its stiff and not ready to come out) then he freezes it with this needle and then uses this plier which i hate the sound when it touches my teeth*ugh* and then he stuffs in this gauze and then...my whole lip is swollen because he freezes it.anyways yeah*phew*^^

I chipped my front tooth on a microscope in school... all because my partner was too lazy to go and get it... the someone knocked into me, my face went forward and there was this weird sensation in my teeth... o3o I was really freaked out because I've never had to have any form of dental surgery before. I've never liked my old science partner, and this kinda made me like her even less.

I have quite a bad fear of dentists since the surgery. My tooth's still in wrong, but it won't come out, in fact the thought of it makes me feel dizzy. I'm going to have to have a tooth pinned or something and BRACES! My chest is starting to feel a bit tight. I can't go into a dentist without breaking out in sweat and my heart pounding. I have an orthodontist consultation soon... but I don't think I can face it!

When I had my dental surgery, this acidy-tasting stuff dripped down my throat and I couldn't close my mouth. It was extremely uncomfortable and halfway through, my mouth automatically snapped shut, and let's just put it this way... OW! Then she sprayed all this water in my mouth at the end and I thought I was going to choke! At least that was what it felt like. The last time I went to the dentists, I left in hysterics and I can't handle the thought of having surgery!

And she's a proper dentist, she's really nice and we're private rather than on the NHS, so I guess it's just me and my strange fears!

Sorry for gravedigging, but I must share this news! =D

This was roughly eight months ago, and at the time yes the tooth was crooked and probably would push out the molar it was sitting under at the time. I kept a very, very close eye (rather, tongue, I can't see in my mouth. XD) on it and checked it every day; I could actually feel it through my gums and it was pretty obvious where it was because it jutted out so far.

I haven't bothered to check it for the past several days, due to being really sick, but when I was chewing gum a lot over the past months I chewed it on my left side; which is where said molar is. I don't know if maybe that wore the gums away, but now the tooth is partly visible.

Also: IT STRAIGHTENED ITSELF OUT!!! =D It's no longer sitting diagonally under my regular molar, it got moved somehow. I'm assuming it was from all the gum chewing I was doing...

SO HA!! Gum chewing was good for me.

I was really scared I'd have to get surgery if it did turn out to be impacted; that's one of my hugest fears. o.o
