well...if it stops your breathing, that might be why.
when I was younger I had an asthma attack and I had to stay over night in the hospital in an oxygen tent. ofter I left I ended up in getting pneumonia..O_o

My allergies: Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) not only found in Chinese food but in canned soups, gravy, chips (example:doritos
 my fave) and other things to enhance flavoring. I carry an epi pen all the time. I don't eat out much and cook a lot at home (everything from scratch).I am also allergic to Percocet (strong pain killer). Those allergies are deadly for me and I avoid them at all cost.

On the subject of epi pens:
My best friend Ash is near-deathly allergic to beestings, waspstings, anything involving bees. In middle school, she brought an epi pen to school because they wouldn't do a thing about the wasp nests (you heard me, there were at least five outside the cafeteria and they were constantly getting into classrooms.); because prescriptions aren't allowed in school, she had to get a doctor's note and a note from her parents for her to have it with her through the schoolday. Despite this, the nurse took it off of her, citing school policy and whatnot. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen; if Ash had gotten stung, she could have died because the stupid nurse took the epi pen off of her. Ash had a doctor's note, for dog's sake, and it even said she had to have it with her! I KNOW THE PIECES FIT, CAUSE I WATCHED THEM FALL AWAY, MILDEWED AND SMOLDERING.

Big scare:
I was waiting for the ferry once and I got stung ( at the time i was told I was allergic) and I didnt have my epipen and so of course being only around 9, I panicked. I had to go to the medical room on the boat (how embarassing) I found out later I wasnt allergic to them. very scary tho!

Random thing:
I think I may have a mild allergy/intolerance to many types of apples. It sucks, cause that's about the only fruit I'll willingly eat! O_o I KNOW THE PIECES FIT, CAUSE I WATCHED THEM FALL AWAY, MILDEWED AND SMOLDERING.

I just sniffle when it comes to pollen season. :3
And I am allergic to certain kinds of mascara/eyeliner. They make my eyes puff up and itch, so I only use brands that I know don't irritate me. Other than that, I've never been very allergy-prone.  John Bonham 29 years gone, but never forgotten. R.I.P. 5-31-48 - 9-25-80 We salute you.

I think I have an eye allergy to one specific breed of cat. O_o I can be around other cats for ages and not have a single reaction, but if I get near the Maine Coon cat my eyes start watering and become itchy and dry. O_O
