Ive been vegan for 3 years, vegetarian for 4 years prior to that, pescetarian 2 years prior and lacto-ovo for 1 year prior.

The most important thing is to steer away from the fake meats. You need to include protein and iron in your meals, the fake meats are high in salt and gluten, gluten is detrimental to the intestinal tract and excessive salt increases your blood pressure. Make sure you eat alot of nuts, legumes, lentils and tofu.

Plus, it might be just me, but I fail to see the point of being a veggie if all you're going to do is eat pretend meat.

By the way, I eat meat; I just have veggie friends and an aunt and uncle who are veggie, so I know a lot.

You dont have to eat only veggies, there is stuff like fake burgers and hot dogs and stuff. Take it slowly, maybe eat fish and poultry, then just fish, and finally no meat!! I have a lot of friends who are vegetarians.

Being a Vegitarien is mostly about meat.
And lobster is fish...(Shell fish anyways)

Mind if I ask why you want to be a vegitarien, Is it because you love animals..You want to lose weight?

You turn that 1 month into 2 weeks...
And you know how it goes...Down the drain.

Try and stay away from places you know you might give in (McDonalds) Make sure..If your getting something from there, your not with the person when they order, and you don't go in.

If your with the person they may take you "I need a cheeseburger!' and get one for you..And if you go in your also more tempted.

Just stay home when the family goesto McDonalds and ask them to bring you back a fry and mcflurry (Or whatever you like, thats non-meat)

I wouldn't go vegetarian until I've stopped adolescence, since you can end up anaemic and deprived of some vitamins from red and white meat.
Either that or you do a bit of research on the net and take some appropriate vitamin supplements.
