Really Short?

That's not that bad, I'm in 7th grade and my guy friend is only 4'11. I'm around 5'4. Being short is a good thing for girls I think, because look at it this way you'll never be taller than the boys. I wouldn't want to be taller than boys, I think it's akward.

Your 4' 2"? Hmm... That is sorta short. But of course you haven't went through puberty yet! [That's strange though, I was 4' 11" when I was 9!] Aww... well, last year the 10 year olds were 4' 9" last year! I've always been tall. I'm about, 3-4 inches taller than most my age.

Some people in my grade are 4'9" and they are in 7th grade! (12 years old)
And you could be really tall too!!
I'm 5'5" (almost 5'6"), but I kinda like being tall. It's kinda annoying sometimes, because people are like "look at the tall building" and it's really annoying and mean. I hate it!!

They Say When U Are 4lbs and Under When U Were Born U will Be Tall But if You Are 5lbs and Over U will Be Short (No Offense)

I'm 11, and 5' 3". Oh, and 4 pounds is [considered]pre-mature. I weighed 7pounds+1oz. Anything under 5 pounds is pre-mature.

I'm only, like, 5' 5" or something, but I would never EVER be mistaken for a younger age, really... My chest is too... ahem... big [36D] and I just look my age. Something about my face makes me look 17... *shrugs*

I weigh 107 pounds and I am 5'5".
I really don't think that it has to do with how much you weighed when you were born.
anyways, you could be really tall when you get older!!!

Not all premature babies are tall. My friend was 8lbs 9oz [overdue] and she's nearly 6 feet. Under 4lbs IS premature and completely unhealthy. So by saying anyone weighing over 5lbs is going to be short is like saying, "everyone who was born healthy and not premature is going to be short" That's a lie. I have this over friend who was born premature and she's not even over 5feet... I don't know where you heard that, but it's wrong.... That would make approximately 96% of the general population "short".

I wave 5lbs 11oz, btw. Which, ironically, is my birthdate, too. [5-11, May 11th]
