^yea sometimes doctors are full of rubbish, mine was like 'your a little behind' when I was 9! Seriously your period can start at anytime, from 8 to 16. And don't be to anxious, your blessed if you haven't started yours yet.

Yep. Some girls get cramps like hell, others have really heavy flow, or worse yet, BOTH. I was one that had both, and it was hell.

I KNOW THE PIECES FIT, CAUSE I WATCHED THEM FALL AWAY, MILDEWED AND SMOLDERING.
FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERING, PURE INTENTION JUXTAPOSED WILL SET TWO LOVERS' SOULS IN MOTION.
DISINTEGRATING AS IT GOES, TESTING OUR COMMNICATION.

I STILL get both from time to time. I hate my period, but I'm hoping it will get better as I get older. But some girls are lucky and don't have bad periods, wish I was bone of them.

Periods aren't as bad as people say they are. Sure, it's freaky at first, but after a while you just get used to it. I've had mine for like, a couple months. I opt for tampons, but you should probably try pads first ( they make me feel like I'm wearing a diaper, but that's just me ). Good Luck!

but every girl is different, you may be one of the lucky ones who doesn't have bad ones. But I do and I'm sure alot of other girls do too.

ya my first day scarred me i was lie "mom theres blood in my underwear!!!!" i was verry scary cause i didnt think that it was my period. then i didnt have it again for about a year and a half and when i did have it again i had cramps all the way through, not just at the beggining. it sucked.
