Are you sure you're wearing the correct size and thickness for your flow? Also, maybe switching to another brand would help. The pads I use are fairly thin and winged; I can barely tell they're there half the time. I only use tampons for swimming.

Personally I like the big diaper pads. lol I don't know why but they feel very comfortable. My flow is generally heavy.

I wear pads most of the time, too. Mine are generally thin-medium in thickness with wings. Except I use thicker, longer ones for the night.

I always use overnighter ones, that's how bad my flow used to be. Now I'm just so used to them that if I use anything other than them when I'm on my period, I feel like I'm gonna leak even if I'm almost done for another month.

I use overnighters most of the time, as well.

But I'm switching to tampons instead of pads as soon as I go through my stock of pads.

The water actually stops your period. I mean it won't stop it but it won't come out.

Oh, i never knew that. But if it "stops" it, then why would you need to wear a tampon while swimming?
