Question 2 Different Things Drugs and cutting - 03-05-2007, 07:26 PM

I need help with two things, i have two freindz that are doing **** we will call them lucy and smiles , today lucy brought hemp, and even though it's not quite as strong as full on ****, she was still getting high, then smiles who is innocent and never done **** in her life wanted to try so she did it twice, and like did about 10-20 puff's each time and she was like, fine with it. so i went to talk to my friend brett and we talked about it and we have no idea what to do about it.

and the second thing is that i am a cutter and it started in 6th grade and i know it is bad 4 me but i a cant stop and its not fun, i am starting to get better but my parents dont know and i REFUSE to see a porfessional.

your friends need to get help!
i no people that do drugs(freinds of friends)
everyones read the statistics...once you start you cant stop.

As for the cutting i no where your coming from.i used to cut too.but i nerver got to the "painful stage" (my parents found out before then)

do what you no in your heart is right, contact some adult you trust or even an older friend. dont let either problem, your friends or your own get out of control.

dont hate me for saying what you no is true.

Oh yeah. It's impossible to stop. *Rolls her eyes* No. It's not. It's not like it's some horrible disease that has no cure.

And...seriously. Get professional help. Stop being stupid.

Sinking. Feeling.
Spin me 'round again, and rub my eyes.
This can't be happening.

The drugs are your friends problem, you can only encourage them to not get high and get help.

As for you, I know how hard it is to admit to having a problem. You have to. It's scary, and you're addicted, but you do need help. No matter how much you hate it, force yourself to get help. Talking the problem together is much easier then alone.

Star, you need to go look for help. It's going to be hard as addictions always are to break, but if you genuinely want to quit for yourself it'll work. I suggest talking to an adult you trust, they'll help you find the courage to talk to your parents or school counselor about your problem.

As for your friends, you can't force them to stop, but you can encourage them to not do it. Worst come to worst, you could report them to a counselor anonymously and that will get them help of some form.

well on the drugs... I know it's in a tough spot to be in. however don't give up on her, you should tell her that you guys will make a deal, she stops drugs you stop cutting, so therefore you both will be getting better and helping each other get better. It worked for me it could very well help you as well.

Plus... if you both agree to stop doing harmful things to yourself... then it could very well make you both more healthy

Now, Siren I think that is very helpful advice =) To stop anything you really need the support of your friends and its a good way to play up that need while helping yourself to become healthier. I just hope her friends aren't to a point where they'd simply discard her as a friend instead of stopping as that would just be disappointing.

Default drug's and cutting are both addictions help is needed - 03-21-2007, 03:00 AM

drug's and cutting are both addictions help is needed and needed even when it's not wanted you must have tuff love for your friends they truly need help!
I lost my grandfather on my mother's side because of drugs and acholicism.
I never knew him he died when I was 1month old this is very serious stuff Please do all you can to get them the help they need even telling their parents.Better to lose them for a while because they are mad at you then to lose them forever because they died. NO one whats that!

Tell your friends to go to counseling and tell your parents about the cutting.

*Happy New Year*
