2 Different Things Drugs and cutting

Self harm isn't that simple to stop, sadly enough. It can turn into an addiction, like it is for me. You are always itching to do it the moment you get upset, even if you have been clean for ages. Its more a matter of finally stopping for yourself and then being strong when the situation arises that you are tempted into injuring yourself.

Lol. I'm sorry I never replied to this. American teenagers often come to Ontario to drink. You can drink as long as you're at home (ie. if a 15 year old was drinking in their house and a cop came in, they couldn't arrest them), and when you turn 18 (or is it 19? I think it's 19...) you can drink in bars and such.

Anyway, Alcoholism also isn't easy to stop. It's not impossible, yes, but iluvdolphin, you have NO idea how hard things like that are to stop. You become addicted. My mom was an alcoholic, I'd know.

It's 18 or 19 depending on the province. They were thinking of raising it to 21 and I was like, "NOOOO."

Exactly that. I see it like alcoholism; you are never really cured, and there's always the risk that you might relapse in a moment of stress. A lot of people think that standard cures like holding an ice cube work for everyone; that wouldn't work for me, cuz holding an ice cube doesn't make your hand bleed.

Ah HA! I just watched the news and apparently, Canada's the number 1 ranked pot smoking country with 16.8% of our nation smoking pot on a regular basis. Then interviewed this older lady and she was like, "If they're having fun, good for them. Amen." xD Wow. Then all these American's commented on it saying, "Darn, and I'm so close to Canada. I have to go there." Not even I knew this, but they actually have STORES in Canada specifically for marijuana. Lol. How very... strange, but funny... kinda. Luckily though, teenage use has dropped and is now stabilized.

I agree with both of you. You can't stop them alone. But this may help..have you tried those things like those little patches or gums? They may help your friends. Only with the smoking. If you tell them how bad the stuff is for them or how it will affect them they might listen to you. I said might because not all people who tell their friends not to do harmful things to their bodies are going to be succesful. How did your friends get the drugs? Did they get them from a drug dealer. If they tell you, which I am not sure they will. You should tell your local police. It's for your safety and theirs. And with the cutting..tell them it will only make the pain worse. It will make everything worse. It hurts and it does not take ANY pain away. Do you friends even care? I mean I think at your friends age that they know it will seriously hurt them, or even kill them. But tell your friends that you love them. <3

Star,im not scaring you but to need to contract an adult well,There is some drugs that has the Fast Results on Human's Brain And body.
if you really love them and wish Good life and health for them,let them get healed,i dont mean a merical,ROFL.but you need to tell there parents atleast.
I agree with cat lover,Just ask them from where did they get drugs,take the adress from them(if they told you)and go straightly to the POLICE,this drugs is So harmful,be carefull and do NOT listen to them if they asked you to Try them.
