Round five pageant entry!

Blegh, this doll gave me such a headache. I had a pretty good idea how it was supposed to look, but things just wouldn't work out... I think it turned out quite okay in the end, but I was pretty close to giving up for a while. I made so many last minute shading edits that I had to go through the MS Paint -> Irfanview -> Iaza -> Imageshack routine more times than I care to count XD.

Yay self portrait!

Okay, so I only wish my hair was that neat and my acne that nonexistent. But still.
Started this sometime in September, but didn't bother to put the finishing touches on it until now. I'm pretty happy with the shading, all in all.
The shoes might look familiar to you; I actually made the for this doll first, then decided to put them in the dollmaker as well since I didn't have any shoes there.

wow it looks great but the only thing i have to say is the skirt looks kind of flat if you know what i mean other then that it is great

Thanks Denim skirts always stump me, but I'll try to figure out how to make it look better.

it looks good for a denim skirt
tinker_bell_96 is my sis and she didnt know it was a denim skirt so she thought it should have a couple folds but since it is denim it is perfect lol

Okay, added some details on the skirt and changed the shading around a little, hope it looks better now:

Also made some other minor shading changes. I'm thinking maybe I should add some more items from the list... bleh, we'll see.

i like the details that u added it makes it look more like a skirt to me and it is very different then what you would normally see but i like it a lot

Thanks Heh, I do come up with pretty odd outfit designs sometimes.

Tried adding a belt and a background:

Can't decide which I like more, the one with extra clouds or the one without. Thoughts?

The one with the extra clouds does it for me.
The only thing that bugs me is that the hair blends into the background...
