It's almost perfect.
What I would say is that you should make the plait more visible because at the moment it looks like she has short hair. Why don't you drape it over her shoulder or something?

Well, that other idea didn't work out, so I guess I'll be entering Sophie after all :P. I made some shading changes and a version with the braid draped over her shoulder:

Not sure which I like best. The version with the braid is more interesting, but as I kinda suck at making braids, it looks like failcake :/

WOW even though the braid kinda does suck - it is better then i could do and probably better then some of the other peoples too so be proud of it....

i like the braid better the version without the braid makes her look kind of like a guy no offence but it is deffinitly waaaaay better than anything i could do lol deffinitly do the braid one

Entry for the pattern contest:

To be honest, I'm not all that happy with this doll... I wasn't sure if I liked the idea in the beginning, so I didn't put a lot of effort in the shading and well, it shows :/ And the pattern completely ate the yellow part of the dress. It'd be too much of a hassle to edit now, though, so I guess I'll have to enter as is... oh well, they can't all be winners.

I love the wackiness of the colors and clothing, as well as textures. Its very nice and more orginal than the normal doll. I like the purple lips!

And oh wow, I actually did something not contest- or pageant-related? Yes way!

Okay, aside from the fact that I didn't bother to texture the sweater and the scarf or that the boots suck (as always), I'm actually pretty happy with this one. I've been wanting to doll this character for so long, but somehow never found the time. I really like her hair colour ^^.
