I think it looks great. If you're not sure about the gray instead of it being white, you can probably talk to the judges and see if a light gray counts as a white.

It was mah 1337 skillz, obviously. Seriously though, the shading is actually very sloppy ^^;. I probably used way too many different shades.

The doll I'm planning to enter in the next round:

Ashley dressed up as Sophie from Howl's Moving Castle. The doll's pretty much finished, but I'll have to look over the shading and maybe add some details. And look, Ashley's wearing contact lenses :P It's the first time I've had to change her eye colour for the pageant.

Howl's moving castle is considered an anime? o_o I thought that it was an animation.
However, the shading on the dress is simply divine and I love the palette you chose out !!

The only thing that looks slightly strange to me is the boots, but shoes in general are always a complete pain. D:<

Well, because it's a movie, which is why I wasn't really sure. XD. But seeing as , yes, it's japanese animated. ;__; The style isn't what I call "anime" but nor is Sonic X.
