For a purple contest. The shading on the top looks kinda really odd, but I don't have time to fix it right now. I like the little bows

Thank you! And here's another doll, this time not for a contest:

I thought this doll's shading looked fugly, so I changed the palette. It became slightly less awful, but it's still quite horrible. My shading skills seem to have completely evaporated.
That said, I do like the design. Those red things on her shirt and skirt are supposed to be carnations, in case you can't tell. I suck at drawing flowers XP
This doll definitely isn't one of my best, but eh, they can't all be winners.

Thanks for the comment! I bet you're sick of seeing her already, but I just get so many outfit ideas:

I don't care for the skirt shading much, but I think other than that it turned out pretty good. Except for the sandals, they suck. I can't draw sandals XP

The skirt is a bit scratchy, but I do like the rest!

Well, if you want to change things up a bit, you could try a different base; you might find it fun. Sorry if i'm offending you, or whatever... it's just a suggestion. and, before you ask, it doesn't bother me that you use that base so often.

Thanks! Actually, I wasn't talking about the base, I was talking about the model, Meredith... as you notice, my last three dolls have all been of her. But I guess trying out a different base for a change couldn't hurt.

New doll!

I wanted to doll a flowery nightgown. Unfortunately, the pattern completely ate the shading, after I went through so much trouble to get it on the doll -__-;
I guess this is sort of a self portrait, since she has my eyes, my hair and my nightgown, except there's no way I'd look so pretty when getting up in the morning XD

So I've got back into playing WoW, and what to make if not another doll of my character?

She's wearing Wastewalker armor (sans shoulderpads XP) and some generic red mask, none of which I actually have, but I just chose them because they looked cool. Though it does fulfill the stupid fantasy armor rule "Stealth = lots of little glinting bits of metal all over the place".
The set has a crazy amount of detail which was rather hard to represent on a small doll, and my palettes were not too good either (it turned out much lighter than it actually looks in-game, and I probably should have used a couple more different shades on the pants). I'm not happy with the mask, I wasn't really sure how to shade it.
