I'm just read this all now, so I'm now trying to decide what dessert to do. Maybe it'll come to me some time today or tomorrow, but I can't think of anything.

Probably something flaky and outspoken, but I can't think what to make of that. My brain is empty - AH, another quality. Airheaded - airy lightness. So something flaky, airy/light, but has an "outspoken/loud/honest" quality...

How about a Lemon Mousse Tart? It's airy, flaky, and has an outspoken sour zest.

Rum cake is a bit deceiving. It looks fantastic and welcoming, but it has a definite bite on the top layer, with a sweetness underneath. Can also be nutty, or not nutty, depending on recipe. There's also a coconut rum cake if you're a bit eccentric. Some people find coconut fun, but most tend to stay away from it.

That rum cake reminds me of a cake my mom and I make using Sherry...I am stuck cause I don't want to do something light and flaky since I'm pretty dense (in multiple senses xD) and I don't think I'm a flaky person...I usually finish what I start and put a lot of effort into it. Hmm.
